Lisa Chavez

As the CFO of Chavez and Associates, I have more than 20 years of combined experience in accounting, website design, and implementation of information technology and accounting systems.  I attended Kent State University and The University of Akron where I studied business and accounting.

I have worked for such recognized companies as AT&T, Pioneer Standard Electronics, Prescott, Ball & Turben, BCG & Company, and Precision Directional Boring, LLC.  
I am a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor, a Member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers, a graduate and member of the Medina County Community Police, and a Notary Public for the State of Ohio.

In our opinion, Customer Service has gone by the way side today, and we are devoted to make sure that Customer Service in Number One in our company.    Our clients are important to us and we work hard to build long-lasting relationships with each and every one.
As the President of Chavez and Associates, LLC I have more than 25 years of combined experience in accounting, finance, management, information technology, and education.  My working knowledge of both small and large businesses has helped guide me to where I am today.  I graduated from Benedictine College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Finance.  I continued my academic pursuits and earned my MBA from The University of Kansas and a Master’s Degree in Accountancy from The University of Akron.

I have worked for such recognized companies as IBM, Trans World Airlines, Hallmark Cards, Cap Gemini, and National City Bank. Throughout my career, I have also worked at numerous small companies.  I have taught Finance, Information Technology, Accounting, and QuickBooks courses at both the university and professional level.

I am a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Cleveland East Chapter and the Ohio Regional Council.  In 2012, I was awarded
Adjunct Professor of the Year at Bryant & Stratton College, where I currently teach a few accounting courses.

My intentions are to serve individuals and small businesses who just want affordable bookkeeping, accounting, and/or tax preparation.  I welcome small businesses just starting up and in need of outside bookkeeping services or any small business who has found themselves growing and unable to keep up the paperwork.

I not only serve the small business community, but have found that there are people out there that are unable to manage writing checks, reconciling checking accounts or whose spouse, who took care of all that paperwork, is now unable to do so and are in need of someone to periodically help them out with their record keeping.

I maintain a personal, one-on-one business relationship with my clients.  I take your needs personally because your success means our success.
